DESCRIPTION:Co- Ed Basic Pistol \nThis 6.5-hour course teaches participants the basic knowledge\, skills\, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely\, and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a handgun. During this course\, the student will be exposed to easy-to-learn shooting skills\, responsible and safe gun ownership\, handling\, and storage methods. Students will complete live-fire training while on the range with a NRA Certified Instructor in a small group. \nThis course meets and exceeds the training requirements to obtain a Florida CCW permit. \nCourse topics include: \n• Introduction to Firearm Safety\, Parts\, and Operation \n• Fundamentals of Shooting \n• Introduction to Pistol Shooting \n• Safe Firearm Storage\, and Training Opportunities \n• Legal considerations for CCW holders \nWe will provide firearms to use if you do not have one and will provide input on firearm purchase considerations and applications for use. Students that do own a handgun should plan to bring it\, along with at least 50 rounds of the appropriate ammunition. \nCourse Fee includes firearm rental\, if necessary. \nEach student will be responsible for their own Range Fee of $30 to Gun Craft\, which will be required upon arrival. \nOnce students are registered\, they will receive additional details pertaining to the course in an email from Eventbrite\, within 7-10 days of the class date. \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/449396084787

DESCRIPTION:FIRST DEFENDER \nCome join us for this 2-day immersive class into what it is to be your own First Defender.\nDay One is a fully immersive class with Franklin Riddle the owner and lead instructor for On Point Safety and Defense. Franklin will be taking the students through Gun Shot Wound & Trauma Management as well as it what it means to be an Active Bystander should you ever need to save your life or the life of a loved one. All Students receive a CAT Tourniquet as part of their tuition. \nDay Two is a full day on the range with Bert Winfield the owner and lead instructor for Home Defense Solutions. Bert will be taking the students through a full day of First Defender Handgun Defense and how it applies to street encounters. This class is taught from Concealed Carry. Topics will include efficient draw from a concealed holster\, shooting on the move\, multiple threat engagements\, and many more.
