There will be approximately 2 hours of lecture/classroom\, followed by 3 to 4 hours of range time. \nWe will discuss how to use ambient light to your advantage\, how to use darkness and shadows to your advantage\, when and how to deploy a handheld flashlight and when and how to deploy a weapon mounted light (WML). \nRange time will consist of several stages of fire that will test your knowledge of what you learned in the classroom\,and provide you with drills you can do on your own to improve your skills. \nStudents attending this course will need a minimum of Florida compliant concealed weapons training (Must show at least a certificate\, or been a past student) and must demonstrate an ability to safely handle their weapon. Safety rules will be strictly enforced. \nStudents will need to bring: \n\nHearing protection\nEye protection\nA concealable handgun with at least 3 magazines\n2 spare magazine pouches\nA concealment holster for the handgun\nA handheld flashlight\nWeapon mounted lights are optional\, but recommended\nYou will also need at least 300 rounds of ammunition.\n\nAll range work will be done from concealment. You will be responsible for any food or drink you would like to bring as well.
