There will be approximately 2 hours of lecture/classroom\, followed by 3 to 4 hours of range time. \nWe will discuss how to use ambient light to your advantage\, how to use darkness and shadows to your advantage\, when and how to deploy a handheld flashlight and when and how to deploy a weapon mounted light (WML). \nRange time will consist of several stages of fire that will test your knowledge of what you learned in the classroom\,and provide you with drills you can do on your own to improve your skills. \nStudents attending this course will need a minimum of Florida compliant concealed weapons training (Must show at least a certificate\, or been a past student) and must demonstrate an ability to safely handle their weapon. You must be able to run your gun without assistance\, to include: A very high level of safe gun handling\, loading\, unloading\, clearing malfunctions\, and drawing safely from concealment.
