DESCRIPTION:This class is for intermediate to advanced pistol shooters. In class we will discuss the various light options that are available to shooters and how to choose one that fits you. We will discuss the pros and cons of using a handheld light or using a Weapon Mounted Light. \n  \nOnce on the range we will begin with dryfire practice to work on the mechanics of deploying our chosen light while drawing our firearm\, shooting\, and moving in the dark\, reloading in the dark\, how to properly scan with our light and many more topics. \n  \nSAFETY NOTE: This class is not for beginners. DESCRIPTION:Women’s Basic Pistol \nThis 6.5-hour course teaches women the basic knowledge\, skills\, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely\, and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a handgun. During this course\, the student will be exposed to easy-to-learn shooting skills\, responsible and safe gun ownership\, handling\, and storage methods. Students will complete live-fire training while on the range with a female NRA Certified Instructor in a small group of women-only. \nThis course meets and exceeds the training requirements to obtain a Florida CCW permit. A certificate will be provided upon successful course completion\, which can be used to apply for a Florida CCW permit. \nCourse topics include: \n• Introduction to Firearm Safety\, Parts\, and Operation \n• Fundamentals of Shooting \n• Introduction to Pistol Shooting \n• Safe Firearm Storage\, and Training Opportunities \nWe will provide firearms to use if you do not have one and will provide input on firearm purchase considerations and applications for use.
