DESCRIPTION:This course is ONLY for folks who have a valid NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Instructor Credential (NO EXCEPTIONS). \nThis is at least a 10-hour course and the candidate must have taken and passed the NRA Basic CCW\, and must hold the Basic of Pistol Shooting Instructor credential prior to attending this course. The Basic CCW course is also accepted by most states in order to be approved for a permit/license. Students are highly encouraged to use their own firearms and are required to bring 300-400 rounds of ammunition for the range-portion of the course. \n(SATURDAY) Day 1 consists of the classroom and practical exercises (9am-5:30pm). ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE AMMUNITION is to be entered into the classroom\, ZERO EXCEPTIONS. \n(SUNDAY) Day 2 will consist of the range portion\, where instructor candidates will have a turn to run a live range conducting multiple defensive pistol drills\, from concealment.
