This deposit is non-refundable\, but is transferable to other class offerings if the student needs to cancel. \nDESCRIPTION:\nThis class is designed for those with firearms experience\, or new shooters\, who are looking to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapon License. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time. \nNote: Constitutional Carry does require the same knowledge of the laws and safety\, which this class offers. \nIN THIS CLASS WE WILL COVER: \n\nBasic firearms safety\nMechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers\nHow to safely load and unload firearms\nClearing common malfunctions and stoppages\nShooting fundamentals\nFlorida Gun Laws\nWhere you can and cannot carry\n\nWe provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition. \nALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: Eye and ear protection during the shooting portion; eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range if needed. \nWe have bottled water and soda available for purchase at the range\, or you are welcome to bring your own to the class. \nPlease wear range appropriate attire. This includes closed-toed shoes\, shirt to the base of the neck (no low-cut or short-cut shirts)\, shorts or long pants.

SUMMARY:Tampa Bay Steel Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Steel Challenge is a stationary speed shoot in which you can use anything from a .22 caliper gun and up. \nIf you like to compete\, but feel uncomfortable running while doing so\, this just might be the ticket for you. \nCheck out our other postings for this sport – Sunday is the match but during the second and forth week of each month we host a practice shoot as well – a great way to try it out.  \nCome see what it is all about – this is low impact on the body and the wallet as well (22LR being the reasonable choice). \nShooting begins about 9AM and continues until about 1PM. \nSign up on practiscore.com – Click on Matches – Click on Florida – and scroll down and select the match (Tampa Bay Steel Challenge)  \nCome out and watch – come out and shoot – talk to the Directors about what it takes to participate in this really fun sport.
