DESCRIPTION:FIRST DEFENDER SHOTGUN \nShotguns have been in use for well over 500 years\, and the concept of launching multiple projectiles at a single time has been around for a great deal longer. Shotguns have a rich and storied history and have played a vital role in combat during every war and still do to this day. Many citizens have chosen to utilize a shotgun for home defense and other roles in their life. Come join us and find out why so many people have chosen a shotgun and just how truly versatile this firearm is. \nThis class is specifically designed for those individuals who wish to utilize their shotgun’s effectiveness for Home Defense. To attend this class you must know the basic safe operation of your shotgun. Everything in this course is taught from the perspective of Home Defense and Self Defense. \nClass is open enrollment to all students who are using a pump action shotgun or semi auto shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Shotguns must be equipped with a buttstock\, no Mossberg Shockwaves or the like are permitted. No breech loading shotguns are permitted either. \nTuition is: $200.00 per student \nClass length is 6 – 8 hours \nTopics Will Include: \n1. Ammunition selection \n2. Patterning of your shotgun \n3. Pros and Cons of pump action and semi automatic \n4. Staging your gun for home defense \n5. Accuracy at varying distances \n6. Dealing with Multiple Attackers \n7. Effective Reloading Techniques \n8. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. DESCRIPTION:Monthly Defensive Pistol Drills\nThese two-hour sessions provide an opportunity to keep your defensive pistol skills sharp. If you carry a gun as part of your normal daily routine\, these drill sessions are for you. Every drill is shot from concealment\, using your everyday carry gear on a dynamic range.\n•	Each session is comprised of very specific pistol drills\, focusing on a particular skill\n•	A new skill is presented and practiced each month\n•	Sessions have a round count of 50 or less\, so you get maximum training without excessive ammo expenditure.\n•	Some examples of topics covered are:\no	Multiple threat scenarios\no	Shooting from cover\no	Strong-hand only and weak-hand only shooting\no	Shooting and moving\no	Close contact shooting \nThis training is reserved for the Intermediate Level shooter.
