DESCRIPTION:“Fundamental Home Defense” presented by Ballistic Dynamics Training and Consulting \nLearn the skills and responses necessary to protect your home. Much more than a shooting clinic\, this course teaches the common sense solutions to make your home a less likely target. You will also learn the hard skills necessary to effectively defend your home and family if the worst does happen. Shooting skills are practiced in context with actual scenario-based training. This course is split 50/50 classroom and range time. A few of the topics covered are: \n•	Safety\n•	Threat Prevention and Response\n•	Introduction to a Defensive Shooting\n•	Basic Defensive Pistol Shooting Skills\n•	Home Defense Pistol Selection\n•	Safe Firearms Storage and Access\n•	Live Fire Scenario Training \nThis is a handgun only course\, no long gun tactics are taught. You will need a pistol or revolver (full size handgun preferred) in good working order. This is NOT a beginner class. Proof of prior handgun safety training is required to register. You will be expected to demonstrate proper handgun safety and manipulation skills to include: Loading\, unloading\, clearing your own malfunctions\, trigger finger and muzzle discipline and all other forms of established firearms safety.  \nRequirements:\nHandgun (No holster required for this course)\nA minimum of 2 magazines\n100 rounds of quality (no steel) ammunition\nClosed toed shoes\nProper range attire (no low cut shirts\, no tank tops)\nNo battle belts\, duty belts\, or plate carriers (we are learning home defense\, not SWAT tactics)\nWater\nBag Lunch \nTuition: $250  ($100 deposit required to hold your spot)\nEmail the instructor at ballisticdynamics@yahoo.com to register.
