Students can expect to learn important but basic firearms skills that will help them to be safe and responsible firearms owners.\n1. The Four Universal Firearm Safety Rules.\n2. Clearing and Loading Semi-Automatic Handguns.\n3. Understanding Semi-Automatic Handgun firing action.\n4. Field stripping and cleaning Semi-Automatic handguns.\n5. Semi-Automatic Handgun Ammunition types.\n6. Creating a personal training program.\n7. Dry firing Semi-Automatic Handguns.\n8. The four Semi-Automatic handgun shooting principles.\n9. Semi-Automatic Handgun shooting fundamentals drill.\nThe cost for the class is $80  *** Students are responsible for range fees.\nStudents are encouraged to register at lovefirearms.com.\nStudents are required to be dressed appropriately (Tee shirts and closed toes shoes e.g. sneakers and or boots) to shoot on the range.\nStudents should bring eye and ear protection if they have it.\nStudents should bring 50 – 100 rounds of 9mm (9×19 Luger) 115 GR FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) Training ammunition.\nPlease direct any concerns or questions to the instructor at info@lovefirearms.com

This deposit is non-refundable\, but is transferable to other class offerings if the student needs to cancel. \nDESCRIPTION:\nThis class is designed for those with firearms experience\, or new shooters\, who are looking to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapon License. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time. \nNote: Constitutional Carry does require the same knowledge of the laws and safety\, which this class offers. \nIN THIS CLASS WE WILL COVER: \n\nBasic firearms safety\nMechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers\nHow to safely load and unload firearms\nClearing common malfunctions and stoppages\nShooting fundamentals\nFlorida Gun Laws\nWhere you can and cannot carry\n\nWe provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition. \nALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: Eye and ear protection during the shooting portion; eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range if needed. \nWe have bottled water and soda available for purchase at the range\, or you are welcome to bring your own to the class. \nPlease wear range appropriate attire. This includes closed-toed shoes\, shirt to the base of the neck (no low-cut or short-cut shirts)\, shorts or long pants.
