DESCRIPTION:DANGER CLOSE – HOMEOWNER CQB \nThis class is specifically designed for Home Defense room clearing. Clearing your own home in the event of an intruder or multiple intruders is an art form all in itself and there are a great many misconceptions out there about room clearing and how to do it properly. Come join me for this class as we get in depth on how to maximize your effectiveness should the need arise that you need to maneuver through your home during a potentially violent encounter. \nClass is designed for Home Defense Rifle and Home Defense Handgun. We will be working on the specific techniques required to use either firearm. \n***SAFETY NOTE*** – This is NOT a beginners class. You will be shooting and moving from compressed positions\, through doorways and around walls. Firearm Safety is PARAMOUNT!!! \nTuition is $300.00 \nInquire about Couples discount to Bert@homedefensetraining.com \nRange Fees must be paid directly to Gun Craft upon arrival and check-in. \nSafety Briefing is 8:45am \nFreedom seeds start flying at 9:00am \nTraining will include: \n\nWhat single person CQB is and isn’t\nWhen to clear your home and why\nProper use of cover and concealment\nDefensive firearm setup considerations\nCompressed position defensive shooting\nAnd many more\n\nRequired Equipment: \n\nRifle that you use for Home Defense\nPistol that you use for Home Defense\n1 spare pistol magazine and 1 spare rifle magazine\nMagazine pouches are helpful though not necessary.\nHolster that retains its shape when the pistol is removed. NO SERPA STYLE HOLSTERS ARE PERMITTED!!!\nRifle Sling. NO HUNTING SLINGS!!!\nAmmo\, 300 rounds for Rifle and 300 rounds for Pistol. More is always better.\nDrinks \,Snacks and Lunch\nBaseball Cap\nEye and Ear Protection\nTactical Belt or Concealed Carry is entirely up to you.\nYou can take this class in full kit if you have it.\nEnclosed shoes (No flip flops\, sandals or open toe shoes)\nCrew neck (T-shirt) or button up shirt (No low-cut neckline or tank tops)\nShorts are permitted\, just keep in mind that you will be kneeling at times.\n\nRecommended Equipment: \n\nGloves\nSun Block\nHand Towel\n\nCANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. This deposit is non-refundable\, but is transferable to other class offerings if the student needs to cancel. \nDESCRIPTION:\nThis class is designed for those with firearms experience\, or new shooters\, who are looking to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapon License. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time. \nNote: Constitutional Carry does require the same knowledge of the laws and safety\, which this class offers. \nIN THIS CLASS WE WILL COVER: \n\nBasic firearms safety\nMechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers\nHow to safely load and unload firearms\nClearing common malfunctions and stoppages\nShooting fundamentals\nFlorida Gun Laws\nWhere you can and cannot carry\n\nWe provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition. \nALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: Eye and ear protection during the shooting portion; eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range if needed. \nWe have bottled water and soda available for purchase at the range\, or you are welcome to bring your own to the class. \nPlease wear range appropriate attire.
