DESCRIPTION:Civilian Weapon Systems: Defensive Pistol – Real World Application (Concealed Carry Focus) \nCWS: Defensive Pistol – Real World Application (Concealed Carry Focus) is the perfect course to complement Basic Pistol\, and CCW trainings. This is more than just sending shots down range. \n*All Skill Levels Welcomed* \nWe will guide you through the steps you’ll need to take to go from just sending rounds downrange to actually training in specific\, tested methods of armed self-defense. \nIn the  course you will learn proper Defensive Shooting Fundamentals. This class will prepare you for carrying a firearm in in the real world. Your instructor will guide you through your bodies natural reactions\, and prepare you to use those reactions to your advantage. Drills Include: Safety\, Comfort\, Competency Concepts\, Medical\, Extend-Touch-Press\, Up through Up Multiples\, Balance of Speed and Precision\, Emergency Reload\, Presentation from the Holster\, Lateral Movement\, Facing Drill\, Stroll Drill. \nTuition is: $150.00 \nBriefing starts at 12:45PM \nRange Fees must be paid directly to Gun Craft upon arrival and check-in. \nWhat you need:\n• Handgun with an outside the waistband holster made of kydex (or similarly stiff material).  Appendix or centerline carry holsters are also permitted as long as the material is stiff enough to keep the holster from collapsing when the gun is removed. *Holsters should be worn in the same position as one normally carries their firearm on a routine basis.\n• 250 rounds of ammunition (FMJ); more is recommended if possible\n• 3-4 magazines\n• 1-2 magazine pouches (not necessary\, but helpful)\n• Appropriate range attire\no Closed Toed Shoes\n• Eye and ear protection\n• Note-taking materials (notebook\, pen\, etc)\n• Snacks and water or other means of rehydrating\, (quick easy to eat brain fueling snacks recommended) \nEvery student who registers will receive a FREE E-Book on Defensive Shooting ($35 Value) \nContact for more info: \nDurand Capers\ndurand@pingpowpat.com\n813-944-8959

This deposit is non-refundable\, but is transferable to other class offerings if the student needs to cancel. \nDESCRIPTION:\nThis class is designed for those with firearms experience\, or new shooters\, who are looking to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapon License. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time. \nNote: Constitutional Carry does require the same knowledge of the laws and safety\, which this class offers. \nIN THIS CLASS WE WILL COVER: \n\nBasic firearms safety\nMechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers\nHow to safely load and unload firearms\nClearing common malfunctions and stoppages\nShooting fundamentals\nFlorida Gun Laws\nWhere you can and cannot carry\n\nWe provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition. \nALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: Eye and ear protection during the shooting portion; eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range if needed. \nWe have bottled water and soda available for purchase at the range\, or you are welcome to bring your own to the class. \nPlease wear range appropriate attire. This includes closed-toed shoes\, shirt to the base of the neck (no low-cut or short-cut shirts)\, shorts or long pants.
