DESCRIPTION:DATE: October 29\, 2022\nTIME: 9:30am-1:30\nINSTRUCTOR: Candace Calderon with Triple C Strategies\n→ Triple C Strategies Facebook Page ←\n→  Triple C Strategies Website ←\nTO REGISTER: Click the Eventbrite link here: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/triple-c-strategies-32243474373\nThis four hour course builds on the fundamentals of safely and effectively operating a pistol\, while introducing next level defensive pistol shooting skills and concepts; including using cover and concealment\, moving and shooting\, weapon retention and immediate action drills. \nPrerequisites: Registrants must have successfully completed a Basic Pistol Class from Triple C Strategies; have zero issues with trigger discipline (keeping your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot); be physically able to move while shooting; lock the slide of their semi-automatic pistol to the rear without assistance; and be able to load their own magazines\, without assistance. \nStudents will need:\n– their own pistol\n– 2 magazines\n– 200 rounds of ammunition \nBecause of the shooting-intensive nature of this course\, class size will be limited to six (6) female participants. \nClear eye protection and electronic ear protection will be available for each student. \nEach student will be responsible for their own Range Fee of $30 to Gun Craft\, which will be required upon arrival. This deposit is non-refundable\, but is transferable to other class offerings if the student needs to cancel. \nDESCRIPTION:\nThis class is designed for those with firearms experience who are looking to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapon License. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time. \nIN THIS CLASS WE’LL COVER: \n\nBasic firearms safety\nMechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers\nHow to safely load and unload firearms\nClearing common malfunctions and stoppages\nShooting fundamentals\n\nWe provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition. \nALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: eye and ear protection and sunscreen or hat for sun protection on range.
