During this course\, the student will be exposed to easy-to-learn shooting skills\, responsible and safe gun ownership\, handling\, and storage methods. Students will complete live-fire training while on the range with a female NRA Certified Instructor in a small group of women-only.  \nThis course meets and exceeds the training requirements to obtain a Florida CCW permit. A certificate will be provided upon successful course completion\, which can be used to apply for a Florida CCW permit.  \nCourse topics include:  \n• Introduction to Firearm Safety\, Parts\, and Operation  \n• Fundamentals of Shooting  \n• Introduction to Pistol Shooting  \n• Safe Firearm Storage\, and Training Opportunities  \nWe will provide firearms to use if you do not have one and will provide input on firearm purchase considerations and applications for use. Students that do own a handgun should plan to bring it\, along with at least 50 rounds of the appropriate ammunition.  \nCourse Fee includes student books and firearm rental\, if necessary.   \nEach student will be responsible for their own Range Fee of $30 to Gun Craft\, which will be required upon arrival.  \nOnce students are registered\, they will receive additional details pertaining to the course in an email from Eventbrite\, within 7-10 days of the class date.

SUMMARY:Night Ninja Low Light Shooting with Bert Winfield
DESCRIPTION:NIGHT NINJA \nLOW LIGHT SHOOTING \n          This class is for intermediate to advanced pistol shooters. In class we will discuss the various light options that are available to shooters and how to choose one that fits you. We will discuss the pros and cons of using a handheld light or using a Weapon Mounted Light. \n  \nOnce on the range we will begin with dryfire practice to work on the mechanics of deploying our chosen light while drawing our firearm\, shooting\, and moving in the dark\, reloading in the dark\, how to properly scan with our light and many more topics. \n  \nSAFETY NOTE: This class is not for beginners. We will be doing dynamic techniques in the dark. You must know your firearm and its operation as well as your gear. There are no warnings for safety violations in this class\, any violation of safety hazards and you will no longer be permitted to participate in any live fire. You may stay and observe the rest of the class from behind the shooting line if you would like. Safety to yourself and other students is always paramount. \n  \nTuition: $150.00  \n  \nRange fees of $30.00 must be paid by the students directly to Gun Craft the day of class. \n  \nRequired Equipment: \nFlashlight that you currently carry or plan to carry. Batteries or chargers for your flashlights. \nWeapon Mounted Lights are permitted as well. \nSturdy holster that retains its shape once the firearm is drawn and will accept your WML if you are using one. \nEye and Ear Protection \nBall cap \nQuality functional semi-automatic pistol or revolver. \nMicro or pocket pistols are permitted. \n200 rounds of ammunition minimum. More is better \n2 Magazines for Semi-Automatics. \nEnclosed shoes (No flip flops\, sandals or open toe shoes) \nCrew neck (T-shirt) or button up shirt (No low-cut neckline or tank tops) \nShorts are permitted \nRain gear and appropriate clothing for weather. \nHydration (water\, Gatorade\, etc.) \n  \nCANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. In the event Home Defense Solutions cancels a class a refund of the class tuition (NOT INCLUDING EVENTBRITE FEE’S) will be returned to student\, or the student will have the option to reschedule. NO REFUNDS if the student cancels within 48 hours of the class.
