The method of Appendix Carry for a time seemed to lose its popularity. Over the last decade however it has been making a comeback into the Concealed Carry World. Unfortunately there is still a lot of myth’s surrounding this topic. Come join me for this class and learn how to safely and properly utilize the Appendix Carry method. \nTopics Covered: \n\nHistory of Appendix Carry\nHolster Selection\nClothing Considerations\nPros and Cons of Appendix Carry\nProper Holster draw and Safe re-holstering methods\nHow to deploy your pistol from a compromised position.\nSteps to obtain a sub second draw to shot on target.\n\nEquipment Required: \n\nModern pistol that you carry\nHolster that retains its shape after the firearm is removed. Pouch style holsters or sticky type holsters are not permitted.\n150 Rounds of ammunition.\nTowel or Blanket that you can lay on. Part of this class you will be laying on your back.\nSpare Magazines and a method to carry them are encouraged but not required.\nAppropriate range attire and safety equipment.\n\nThis class is 3 to 4 hours long. Class fee is $130.00.

This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time. \nIN THIS CLASS WE’LL COVER: \n\nBasic firearms safety\nMechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers\nHow to safely load and unload firearms\nClearing common malfunctions and stoppages\nShooting fundamentals\nHow to clean a firearm\n\nWe provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition. \nALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: eye and ear protection and sunscreen or hat for sun protection on range. Eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range if needed. \nWe have bottled water\, soda\, and snacks available for purchase at the range. You must be able to run your gun without assistance\, to include: A very high level of safe gun handling\, loading\, unloading\, clearing malfunctions\, and drawing safely from concealment.
