During this course\, the student will be exposed to easy-to-learn shooting skills\,responsible and safe gun ownership\, handling\, and storage methods. Students will complete live-fire training while on the range with a female NRA Certified Instructor in a small group of women-only. \nThis course meets and exceeds the training requirements to obtain a Florida CCW permit. \nCourse topics include: \n\nIntroduction to Firearm Safety\, Parts\, and Operation\nFundamentals of Shooting\nIntroduction to Pistol Shooting\nSafe Firearm Storage\, and Training Opportunities\nLegal considerations for CCW holders\n\nWe will provide firearms to use if you do not have one and will provide input on firearm purchase considerations and applications for use. Students that do own a handgun should plan to bring it\, along with 30 rounds of the appropriate ammunition. \nCourse Fee includes student books\, range fees\,and firearm rental\, if necessary. \nOnce students are registered\, they will receive additional details pertaining to the course.
