Gun Craft offers many opportunities for competition shooting.
We host several monthly shooting matches as well as a weekly practice match.

Our Monthly matches include our local USPSA matches held on the first and third Sundays of every month (more info and registration HERE)

Steel Challenge Match held the second Sunday of every month (more info and registration HERE)

First Defender Pistol III with Bert Winfield

FIRST DEFENDER PISTOL III

This class is designed specifically for the Intermediate to Advanced Concealed Carrier. Everything in this class is taught from the position of Defensive Concealed Carry. To attend this course you must be able to safely operate your firearm without assistance and have previously trained in safe holster work from concealed. This class is dynamic in nature and safety to every participant is paramount.

Topics Covered:

  1. Intuitive shooting.
  2. Dealing with Multiple threats at very close distances.
  3. Compressed position shooting.
  4. Use of cover.
  5. Moving in and out of cover.
  6. Shooting while moving dynamically.
  7. Stress Management.

Equipment Required:

  1. Modern pistol. A Backup gun is highly recommended in case your primary goes down.
  2. Concealed Carry Holster that retains its shape after the firearm is removed. Pouch style holsters or sticky type holsters are not permitted. Cross draw and off body carry are not permitted. No SERPA style holsters.
  3. Covering Garment. This class is taught from Concealed.
  4. 500 Rounds of ammunition. (More is better).
  5. 2 Spare Magazines and a method to carry them.
  6. Appropriate range attire and safety equipment.

This class is 6-8 hours long. Class fee is $250.00.

Range Fees must be paid directly to the host range by the student.
