Gun Craft offers many opportunities for competition shooting.
We host several monthly shooting matches as well as a weekly practice match.

Our Monthly matches include our local USPSA matches held on the first and third Sundays of every month (more info and registration HERE)

FIRST DEFENDER PISTOL II

This class is designed specifically for the Concealed Carrier. Everything in this class is taught from the position of Defensive concealed carry. If you carry a concealed firearm (and I certainly hope you do) then this class is for you. To attend this course you must be able to safely operate your firearm without assistance. This class is dynamic in nature and safety to every participant is paramount.

Topics Covered:

  1. Holster draw from abnormal positions.
  2. Rapid sight acquisition and flash sight picture.
  3. One Handed Shooting and firearm manipulation.
  4. Dealing with pistol malfunctions.
  5. Dealing with Multiple threats.
  6. Target Identification.
  7. Shooting while moving.
  8. Stress Management.

Equipment Required:

  1. Modern pistol. A Backup gun is highly recommended in case your primary goes down.
  2. Concealed Carry Holster that retains its shape after the firearm is removed. Pouch style holsters or sticky type holsters are not permitted. Cross draw and off body carry are not permitted.
  3. Covering Garment. This class is taught from Concealed.
  4. 500 Rounds of ammunition. (More is better).
  5. 2 Spare Magazines and a method to carry them.
  6. Appropriate range attire and safety equipment.

This class is 6-8 hours long. Class fee is $200.00.
