Armed Citizen’s Basic Skills Course
This course focuses on teaching the fundamentals required for carrying a concealed firearm. Perhaps you’ve already gotten your Concealed Weapons Permit, but do you have the skills and proficiency to actually use it? Don’t wait, now is the time to learn the skills necessary to be a RESPONSIBLY Armed Citizen.
This is NOT a beginner’s course, you must be able to load, unload, clear malfunctions and safely operate your firearm WITHOUT assistance.
Topics covered include:
a. Choosing a proper holster/gun combination for concealed carry
b. Carry position and wardrobe considerations
c. Personal Defense Ammunition selection criteria
d. Safe, effective presentation of the firearm from concealment
e. Defensive shooting skills
f. Post incident considerations
g. Ladies only courses available
*Proof of a prerequisite firearms safety course required (NRA/Military/Other Firearms Training Course)
Course Length: 4 hours
Required Equipment: Handgun, holster, 100 rounds of ammunition
