Time: 9 AM thru 5 PM
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a rifle safely. Subjects covered: Firearm Safety, Marksmanship, Handling Malfunctions, Maintenance, Storage, and more. Enjoy a relaxed and safe learning environment. Classroom and live fire range sessions.
Each student receives an NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook and MQP booklet. Upon successful completion, the student will also receive a course completion certificate. This course qualifies for the Florida Conceal Carry License application.
Required gear: your rifle *NO muzzle-loaders*, caliber under .50 BMG, min 100 rounds, 2 mags for semi-auto, eye and ear protection, pencil, notepad, lunch. Appropriate clothing and footwear: (no tank tops, low cuts, no sandals, etc.) (hot brass has a way of falling where it shouldn’t).
Tuition: $140 (Range Fee $30 – is paid separately & directly to Gun Craft)
