Enjoy a relaxed and safe learning environment. This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning, using, and carrying a concealed pistol safely. Subjects covered: Firearm Safety, Marksmanship, Reloads, Drawing from Concealment, Engaging Multiple Target, Malfunctions, Storage, and more. Classroom and live fire range sessions.
Students receive a Personal Protection Outside the Home handbook, NRA/MQP booklet, and a Safety Card. Upon successful completion, the student will receive a course completion certificate, which satisfies the training requirement for the Florida Conceal Carry License application (FL §790.06(2)(h)).
Required gear: your handgun (Sig Sauer P320 is not allowed), (caliber: 22LR ~ 45ACP), min 300 rounds, 2 mags for semi-autos, good holster, mag holder, eye/ear protection, cover garment, pen/notepad, lunch. Some gear restrictions apply. Appropriate clothing and footwear: (no tank tops, low cuts, no sandals, etc.)
* Students pay the $30 range fee directly to the range personnel.
