This is not an introduction to firearms course.
This course of fire will touch on, point shooting, sighted shooting, shooting inside your personal space, movement, and magazine changes. Upon completion of this training, you will have a sound foundation to build on as you continue your self-defense firearms training.
It is my opinion that every person should be able to perform these tasks if they carry a firearm for self defense.
Required skills needed to attend this course: If we determine that you do not possess the skills needed for this class we will suggest you attend another one of our courses that are better suited for you. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
Minimum Skills: Perform these tasks safely.
● Abide by the four basic firearm rules.
● Be able to draw from the holster and re-holster safely, without fumbling with your gear.
● Work through weapon malfunctions. (Immediate action drill.)
● Be able to perform loading, unloading, and press checks, smoothly and safely.
● Manage your own ammo.
● Be able to employ the basic firearm skills, Grip, Stance, Sights, Breathing, and Trigger press.
