Gun Craft offers many opportunities for competition shooting.
We host several monthly shooting matches as well as a weekly practice match.

OVERVIEW
This class is designed to take your skills to the next level. Students will discuss and learn the fundamentals of moving then shooting, receive in depth training on malfunctions and how to clear them, learn different reloading techniques, discuss different sight picture options and how they relate to speed and distance, learn one handed shooting techniques and get comprehensive training in foundational handgun marksmanship.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
This course is Step 3 of 3 in our foundational handgun series. HANDGUN 102 is required, or an equivalent course, before you attend Handgun 103. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun as well as have demonstrated competence in working from a holster and performing reloads.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

EQUIPMENT LIST
Quality functional semi-automatic pistol – Full size and compact pistols only (semi-auto center fire pistols only – revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed)
No micro pistols or pocket pistols to include: P238, P938, P365, M&P Shield, Glock 43, etc.
3 magazines minimum
Optional, loading devices
Dominant side, hip-mounted holster or dominant side, belt-mounted holster
Magazine pouch(es)
Sturdy belt at least 1.5″ wide
Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
Clothing suitable for training in any weather, pants must have belt loops
Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
Earmuffs and earplugs
Tuition includes free loan of firearms, holsters, safety glasses and hearing protection at the Epping, NH, New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Colorado Springs, CO locations.

AMMO
Estimated round count: 350 rounds pistol
For Epping, NH courses, non-toxic, non-jacketed FRANGIBLE ammunition may be required
Lead core ammunition to be used on steel only
No green/brown tip, armor piercing, or surrogate rounds to be used on steel at any time
Ammunition is available for purchase from the Epping, New Smyrna Beach, and Colorado Springs facilities only

Classes starting at 8:30am will run until 5:00pm.
