Gun Craft offers many opportunities for competition shooting.
We host several monthly shooting matches as well as a weekly practice match.

Our Monthly matches include our local USPSA matches held on the first and third Sundays of every month (more info and registration HERE)

Steel Challenge Match held the second Sunday of every month (more info and registration HERE)

Cowboy Action S.A.S.S. match held the fourth Sunday of every month (more info and registration HERE).

*A 50% deposit is required to register for this class. This deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable to other class offerings if the student needs to cancel.

DESCRIPTION:
This class is designed for those with firearms experience, or new shooters, who are looking to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapon License. This class is designed to cover all requirements in Florida Statue 790.06 to allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There will be approximately 2 hours of class time and up to 1 hour of range time.

Note: Constitutional Carry does require the same knowledge of the laws and safety, which this class offers.

IN THIS CLASS WE WILL COVER:

  • Basic firearms safety
  • Mechanics of semi-automatic handguns and revolvers
  • How to safely load and unload firearms
  • Clearing common malfunctions and stoppages
  • Shooting fundamentals
  • Florida Gun Laws
  • Where you can and cannot carry

We provide the firearm and ammunition for this class. You do not need to bring a firearm or ammunition.

ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED: Eye and ear protection during the shooting portion; eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range if needed.

We have bottled water and soda available for purchase at the range, or you are welcome to bring your own to the class.

Please wear range appropriate attire. This includes closed-toed shoes, shirt to the base of the neck (no low-cut or short-cut shirts), shorts or long pants.
