Gun Craft offers many opportunities for competition shooting.
We host several monthly shooting matches as well as a weekly practice match.

Our Monthly matches include our local USPSA matches held on the first and third Sundays of every month (more info and registration HERE)

Steel Challenge Match held the second Sunday of every month (more info and registration HERE)

Cowboy Action S.A.S.S. match held the fourth Sunday of every month (more info and registration HERE).

NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course with Durand Capers

*This instructor-led course is vital if your goal is to become an instructor.*

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA courses.

What is Needed:
• Note-taking materials (notebook, pen, etc…).
• Snacks (quick breakfast and/or lunch), water or other means of rehydrating, (quick easy to eat brain fueling snacks recommended).
• Appropriate range attire.
o Closed Toed Shoes.
o Crew neck or collared shirt.
• Great Attitude!

What is Optional:
• Your Owned Handgun
• 1 box of FMJ Ammunition suitable for the caliber of the handgun
o 2 boxes = 100 rounds of ammunition
o FMJ = Full Metal Jacket/Ball/Target Ammunition
• 1-2 magazines
• Eye and ear protection

No Live Firearms in the Classroom Area

$150 per student + range fee
